YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK: APRIL 2023

During the month of April, Sunflower Seeds Ukraine delivered aid worth $35,573.82 to Ukrainian Defenders. This included 859 medical items, 216 pieces of protective equipment, 356 uniform components, 50 pieces of tactical gear, and 71 optical devices, including 20 thermal cameras! The 20 thermal cameras–provided to the newly formed 33rd Brigade*–are worth approximately $12,000 in Europe where they were purchased. These are critical because they let Ukrainian Defenders see an enemy approaching from a distance before it’s too late. 

*What is the 33rd Brigade? It was originally formed in 2016 as a part of the Ukrainian Reserve Corps and then was demobilized. In 2022-2023, the brigade has been reactivated and is making a comeback, with a new insignia that features a wolf. We are in direct contact with the commanders of the Brigade and received an official request letter from them to help with thermal monoculars (visit our blog to learn more). Thanks to the Outfit New Brigade donation campaign, we were able to send 20 thermal cameras to the 33rd Brigade, but we are only part of the way to filling the need. To date, we have raised 50% of our $10,000 goal, so this matching campaign continues. Can you help us meet our goal?
