How to raise awareness (and funds) among your friends for Sunflower Seeds Ukraine on Givebutter

Peer-to-peer fundraising is an effective and fun way to raise awareness and money for causes you care about, among your friends. Now you can help raise more for your favorite Sunflower Seeds Ukraine campaigns by adding photos, a story, and a goal to your personal Team Member page.

Signing up to help us help Ukraine shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes. And, before you know it, you’ll be helping to provide individual first aid kits, protective gear, or binoculars and rangefinders that will fill a critical need on the front lines in Ukraine. 

And remember to share, share, share your personalized link on social media, by email, with a pigeon or whatever you please!

Here are the step by step instructions how you can help us help Ukraine (also see screenshots below):

1.     The first thing you need to do is become a “Team Member” of a campaign.

2.     You do this by going to the Sunflower Seeds Ukraine platform on GiveButter.com and choosing a campaign you’d like to ask friends to support on your behalf. You can find From the GiveButter.com homepage, you can find the Sunflower Seeds Ukraine campaigns by clicking on the “Features” tab, selecting “Explore” and then entering Sunflower Seeds Ukraine into the search field.

3.     Once you select a campaign to support, click on the “Join” button. This will take you to the page  where you’ll register with GiveButter.

4.     To register, all you need is an email address and a profile picture (which you can change at any time, so don’t let that slow you down!). 

5.     On this page, you’ll also have a chance to set a financial goal and add a personal note. Adding a personal note is a great opportunity to explain why this campaign is important to you and how supporting it will make a big difference to the people it serves.

6.     Once you hit submit on this page, you’ll receive a personalized link that you can share on social media or through email.
